Took the shuttle service back to my home that is very convenient not to have to find a ride. Shuttle driver very was very professional. All repairs I asked for were done. Input and advice from Doug on services to my vehicle, that I may need to consider. Was appreciated, No pressure to have them done right away! Christian Brothers Automotive No Matter How Hard You Try, You Just Can't Push A Rope “Back in the day I built my own engines & did some 1/4 mile drag racing & a little 3/8 mile dirt track racing, so I've been around cars & wrenches. Unfortunately today's cars are so sophisticated & jam packed into small engine compartments that it almost takes a PHD to work on them. So I'm driving down Santa Fe & the "charging system is broke" warning came on in my Cadillac CTS. I made a stop into Sam's & had them do a quick system check but their machine was defective & couldn't do more than test the battery. I Yelped & found Christian Brothers 1/2 mile away & with a lot of very positive reviews, so off I went. Doug was the Service Writer & was both personable & professional. It was late in the day & he said they likely wouldn't get to my car until the the following day. Then they gave me a ride home saving me the cost of an Uber! Long story short, Doug called a total of 4 times giving me updates on status of the car issue, estimate of the repair cost, & when it would be done. Then they came & picked me up when the car was ready saving me cost of another Uber. I have never experienced this kind of service at an auto repair shop & was thoroughly impressed & pleased with Doug & with Christian Brothers. We left behind everything we were used To. Restaurants, doctorS, dentists, barber and automotive service. So Far we have found very suitable replacements. Except for automotive service. I am a retired us navy pilot (vietnam era) and a retired delta air lines pilot. I am very choosy about who works on my vehicles (2 toyotas). I know the history behind Christian Brothers automotive and they have a stellar reputation. When we were playing “Snowbirds” in South venice, fl a year ago, i availed myself of their services at a local franchise. EVERYTHING was 5-sTar. So when i started my search for an auto service here in castle rock, it did not take me long to zero in on andrea & Steve peterson. I made an online appointment for the standard lube, oil, filter. I seleCted my desired day/time and one alternate. I RECEIVED a call from Cody to leT me know what was availabLe. I was there today March 11, 2020 at 0900. Everything was completed within one hour including a debrief by cody on some suggested additional services, which i chose to do. That was an engine air filter and cabin air filter. I declined a power steering fluid change until the next visit. I paid cody for the service (very fair pricing by the way) and out to the vehicLe. And there was a nice note from cody thanking me fOr selecting christian Brothers automotive. I will be back!!! Also very nice lounge area with snacks and complimentary coffee.
