About Our Store
We are the Brown Family! Matthew, Sarah, Emily, Gracie, Eden, Eli, Ruby, & Samuel!
Matthew and Sarah met in church in Baldwin County in 2006 as family friends. That friendship grew until Matthew and Sarah were married in 2012 and established their new home together in Fairhope. With Baldwin County’s population booming, Matthew and Sarah quickly pitched in, adding six proud Alabamians to Baldwin County’s citizenry—Emily (10), Gracie (9), Eden (7), Eli (6), Ruby (4), and Samuel (2). And, of course, life in the Brown home just wouldn’t be the same without their sheepish golden doodle, Jubilee, and two fun indoor cats, Winston and Cashew.
The entire family loves spending time exploring God’s creation which makes Baldwin County a wonderful place to call home. A week rarely passes without a fishing, canoeing, or swimming expedition on Fly Creek. You might also stumble upon the Brown family playing pickleball at Lott Park, worshiping with friends at Lighthouse Baptist Church, or enjoying the near-sacred Friday night tradition of pizza & movie night. If you smell the aroma while passing by, feel free to drop in and join for the festivities.
Matthew is an Alabama licensed attorney and professional engineer. He has enjoyed both fields but found his greatest enjoyment in the day-to-day operational aspects of small business operations. Sarah is a registered nurse but for the past 10 years has enjoyed (most of the time) working as a stay-at-home mommy.
After watching his Uncle and Aunt experience a fulfilling journey with a new CBA location in Virginia Beach, Matthew began exploring the possibility of pursuing as CBA location in Baldwin County. Matthew and Sarah were sold on the CBA service model because it exemplifies the remarkable, love-your-neighbor (and-your-enemy) teachings of Jesus Christ. God has opened the doors, and now Matthew and Sarah are excited to see how God can be glorified on the Eastern Shore through Christian Brothers Automotive.
