Did You Know: The older a car battery is, the more susceptible it is to extreme temperature changes.

Signs Your Car Battery Is Dying
Many drivers assume their car battery will give plenty of warning before it fails, but modern batteries often work at full capacity—right up until they don’t. Unlike older models that gradually weakened over time, today’s batteries can go from fully functional to completely dead with little notice. That’s why it’s essential to recognize the subtle warning signs before you find yourself stranded.
Watch for these signs that your battery may be failing:
- Dimming electrical components: Slower power windows, dim headlights, or weak interior lights
- Sluggish engine crank: Your engine struggles to turn over when starting
- Clicking sound: A clicking noise when you turn the key or push the start button
- Old age: Most car batteries last 3-5 years; if yours is older, it may be time for a replacement
- Corroded terminals: White or bluish buildup on the battery terminals can affect performance
