Did You Know: The older a car battery is, the more susceptible it is to extreme temperature changes.

Signs of a Failing Car Battery
It's a widespread myth that car batteries will always show clear signs before they fail. The truth is, while cars in the past might have shown a gradual decline in starting speed, today's car batteries are designed to operate at peak performance until they suddenly aren't. Although modern car batteries last longer, it's important to be aware of subtle hints that yours might need attention soon.
Tell-tale signs that your car battery needs replacing include:
- Weakened electrical functions (delayed power windows, less bright headlights, etc.)
- Slower start-up
- The sound of a click when you turn the key
- Battery age
- Corrosion on the battery terminals
In addition to these signs, regular checks can help in preventive maintenance. We recommend scheduling periodic assessments, especially before a long trip or in extreme weather conditions, to ensure your car battery's reliability. Our experts can assist with preventive strategies to address these problems early, saving you from unexpected breakdowns.
