Christian Brothers Automotive Serving the Hutto Community
“This call from Christian Brothers was more than just a huge blessing to my pocket;
it was a giant blessing to one tired mama.”
At Christian Brothers Automotive in Hutto we believe one of our greatest privileges is
serving those in need in our community. Our Nation Service Day gave us the opportunity
to work alongside the CBA Garage Hub to donate all parts and labor to some very
deserving women. We recently contacted Tamra Mangum and Dana Wilcott to invite
them to participate in National Service Day. These ladies have been long standing
customers of ours who are both recently widowed, and we were glad to offer our
automotive services free of charge.
On October 15 Tamra said,
“A huge thank you to James Guzman, owner of Christian Brothers Automotive, and all of
his crew!! Last week James gave me a call and asked me to bring our car in so he could
have his guys look over it. He said they’d keep it for a day and take care of whatever
needed to be done. I didn’t know what to
say other than, ‘Thank you!’ Those words
just don’t seem adequate, though.
James has checked in on us from time to
time since my husband passed, but he has
no idea what the past couple of months
have looked like for us. This phone call
and amazing gift was such a blessing
during another bump in our road!!
I’ve been a widow for a little over 3 years
now. Sometimes it feels like 3 years have
passed and I am thankful for the growth
that I’ve recognized in myself though
being a single parent of 4 busy monkeys,
head of household, manage of all things in
our world, and learning to make time for myself in it all from time to time. Then, ther are
times I just get angry because I have to do simple things like put gas in the car, or make
dinner, or event just answer all the 950 million questions 4 little people can ask in a
matter of 60 seconds. Sometimes I just don’t want to deal with things or have to think
about something. This call from Christian Brothers was more than just a huge blessing to
my pocket; it was a giant blessing to one tired mama. Thank you James, for caring for us
in this way.”

“HUGE shout out to James Guzman of
Christian Brothers and to the amazing
Josh for taking care of my vehicle needs
on national Service Day. I swear y’all, it
was totally divine intervention to get a
call from James on Saturday telling me to
bring my car in on Monday so they can
do a complete check-up. With going back
and forth to Dallas over the past month
my car desperately needed some
attention, including new break pads. I
was putting it off until next pay day...but
GOD...
James and his amazing associate Josh
took care of ALL of it...and they even
washed it; it was filthy from all the traveling. I absolutely love my village! Thank you
James, for always taking care of us single mamas... God Bless You my Friend!”
It was our pleasure, and we will gladly continue to serve Hutto and our surrounding areas.
