It’s that time again. We are excited to announce our National Service Day will be on Saturday October 12, 2019. At Christian Brothers Automotive Mission Bend, our daily mission is to “Love your neighbor as yourself.” We realize that single parents (men and women) and widows are especially challenged in many ways, including car care. We understand that maintaining a vehicle can feel inconvenient, time consuming and financially stressful when there are so many other priorities in life to provide for their families.

Our annual National Service Initiative on Saturday, October 12th is our way to give back to our neighbors and our community, and to show these hard-working neighbors some extra love. This year we’re including Active and Retired Military and welcoming again our areas Educators, especially those from ALIEF and FORT BEND ISD.

We’d like to invite those in need to schedule their service appointment for food, a free oil change and Car Wash on our National Service Day on October 12th. We will also be making safety repair to the vehicles we service, this to ensure that the owners can travel with peace of mind, this at no charge.

Our goal is to help 60 single parents, widows, Active and Retired Military personnel and Educators in need. We hope we can make even just a small difference in their lives and celebrate all they do for their families, our community and our Nation. Again, this service is for those in real need. We will be ordering supplies ahead of time so when you or someone you know calls to set up an appointment there is some information that we will be asking, such as name, address, phone #, email address, vehicle year, make, model and engine size. If you don’t this information you can give us your Vehicle Identification Number found on their vehicle insurance card and we’ll take care of the rest. We need this information because we will be ordering parts ahead of time in order to maximize our time.
