Excellent service with honesty, love, fairness and skil - and a big smile to boot!
“We've trusted Christian Brothers to take good care of our old Suburban for years. It's important that we trust our car to places that give good, reliable service, because our vehicle is the parish car for our church, and we must to be ready on a moment's notice to reach out to help others in need. CB always gives us good, reliable, honest, quick service, with a smile. The mechanics, Kevin the owner, and the front desk people simply do great work; if it isn't right, they make it right, pure and simple.
CB has a special day every year when they reach out to people in the local community who are in need of some expert car repairs, so I mentioned this to several parishioners who might be interested. Our parish car also needed an oil change. When I arrived at the shop early on Saturday, one of our parishioners was there - they were already working on her car, as she needed a door handle mechanism repaired. I handed CB the keys to our car to be checked out, and sat to cat with my friend.
As I sat with my friend (who has been very ill), I saw CB's Christian charity and love at work once again. They only needed a few minutes to repair her door; then they returned to tell her there were some serious problems with her brakes and several other parts. "If you could stay just a bit longer, we can take care of that too." You know that feeling when you go to some repair places -- what comes next is a huge quote for work that needs to be done, right now -- right? I'd told my friend they are great -- but she was dubious, not having known them before herself.
I saw the look on her face: "Oh no, we can't do that now, it'll have to wait - I knew there was a catch to all this ..." Without missing a beat, the CB employee said to my friend, "Don't worry, that's why we're here today, everything will be good as new for you, and there's no charge today!" Needless to say, my friend was pleasantly shocked, almost in tears. Her response was, "I can't believe it! Are you sure? Is this a car shop?"
Christian Brothers displays Christian love, concern, fairness, and charity every day, in everything they do -- it's in their name! They do all this with a smile, gentleness, honesty, and skill.
