Did You Know: The older a car battery is, the more susceptible it is to extreme temperature changes.

Signs Your Car Battery Needs Attention
Recognizing the early signs of a failing battery can prevent unexpected breakdowns and costly repairs.
Some common symptoms include:
- Slow Engine Crank: If your vehicle takes longer than usual to start, it may be time for a battery check.
- Dashboard Warning Light: Many vehicles are equipped with a warning light indicating battery issues.
- Corrosion on Battery Terminals: Visible corrosion is a sign of possible battery leakage or wear.
- Old Battery Age: Batteries typically last between 3-5 years. If yours is older, it may be time for a replacement.
Another important sign is the need for frequent jump-starts, which indicates the battery can no longer hold a charge effectively. Additionally, if your car’s electronics, such as lights and radio, show signs of dimming or malfunctioning, it could be linked to battery issues. Staying proactive in addressing these signs can prolong the life of your vehicle.
