Meet Our Sarasota Team!

God has blessed Scott Christy with the ability to purchase Christian Brothers Automotive South Sarasota, with a vision to provide honest and outstanding automotive repair services to the community of Sarasota, Florida. Having retired from 30 years as an Executive in the Oil and Gas/Finance and Insurance sector, Scott decided to follow his passions of running a successful business, serving others and tinkering with automobiles. Finding Christian Brothers Automotive has been an opportunity for Scott to chase his passions and bring glory to God in how we serve others in the community.

When Scott’s wonderful wife, Sharon, was taken home to be with the Lord in 2017, he stepped back from his international career and focused on his two children who were in high school at the time. Scott’s son, Sean, is a recent Master of Finance graduate at Stephen F. Austin University in Texas and works in Dallas with a leading investment firm. Scott’s daughter, Charis, is currently attending the University of Oklahoma (Boomer Sooner) as a Fine Arts student specializing in Theatre Stage Management. Charis has a bright future as she has already produced and stage-managed productions in Europe. Scott is so proud of his children and the wonderful journey they are taking.

Scott enjoys fishing in lakes as he is an avid bass fisherman and more recently has gotten hooked with coastal and offshore fishing in the beautiful Florida waters. He also has a passion for cooking, reading and travel. When not working, Scott can be found volunteering in the community or at his local church.
