Kirk has a strong background in business management, sales and marketing. While searching for a new business venture, he spent several weeks researching franchise partnerships that specifically matched his personal values and goals. After learning more about Christian Brothers Automotive, he knew he’d found a match! Kirk and his wife Janet joined the Christian Brothers Automotive team in 2017, and by the end of January 2018, store #178 was up and running.

Kirk grew up in Los Angeles, CA and Janet in Sodus, NY. They met in Pensacola, FL while Kirk was in flight school and Janet was attending the University of West Florida. Within a few months, Kirk was transferred to Cherry Point MCAS and they were married in the base chapel. Kirk separated from the military after 9+ years in both the Navy and Marine Corps, and he and Janet moved to California and spent the next 27 years working and raising their three awesome kids (Tyler, Kelly & Jason) in the Los Angeles area.

When Kirk and Janet aren’t at the shop, you will find them exploring Hampton Roads and all the surrounding area has to offer (history, music, festivals, beaches, etc)! They enjoy biking, kayaking, walks on the beach, and spending time with their new friends and church family in Virginia Beach.

Their mission is to glorify God by doing excellent and ethical automotive repair for their customers, and modeling the Christian Brothers Automotive “Love your neighbor” motto.
